Richard Ferguson
Mr. Ferguson is the President of Maximus Funds. From 1992-1997 Mr. Ferguson was an executive managing director of Besen and Associates, a commercial real estate firm. While with the firm, he was consistently among the top two producers in deal flow and transactions. In 1997 Mr. Ferguson started his own firm, the RJ Group, which specialized in joint ventures and resales of commercial development and loft properties in Manhattan. His focus included an alignment of investors in forming joint venture workouts and asset management including recapitalizations, recasting debt, and sales of assets to high net worth investors. Maximus Funds was formed with investors from former transactions and continues to pursue undervalued opportunities and specifically redevelopment of architecturally significant loft properties in downtown CBD zones.
Mr. Ferguson’s numerous contacts and relationships with lending institutions and principals over the last 20 years have been instrumental in acquiring high return assets for Maximus Funds.

Jacque Ferguson
Mr. Ferguson is the project manager for Maximus Funds. He was a project manager and advisor for Maximus’ Riverview project completed in 2006 in Rochester, NY. As project manager, he oversaw mechanical trades for Riverview and served as consulting engineer. He has overseen all value engineering, code compliance issues and construction trades for Maximus projects in upstate NY. He also advises the firm on information technology. Previously, he advised on a number of different construction projects for various firms in Boston, Mass before Maximus Funds.

C & L Capital
This private investment firm along with related investment professionals has been an equity source for Maximus Funds since the late 90’s. Their main business has been in the commodities field over the last 10 years and their allocated capital to Maximus projects has been met with returns in excess of 20%. The firm has its main office outside of Boston, Mass.
